Under the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, and in the matter of the Rotorua Energy Charitable Trust, and an application by the trustees of the Rotorua Energy Charitable Trust (“applicants”):
Take notice that an application for variation of the deed of trust of the Rotorua Energy Charitable Trust (“trust”) has been filed in the High Court at Rotorua.
The applicants seek variations to the deed of trust upon the grounds that the carrying out of the trust can be facilitated by varying the powers of the trustees and/or varying the mode of administering the trust.
A copy of the application annexing the proposed variations and other pleadings is available at the office of the trust at 1358 Eruera Street, Rotorua or, from the applicant’s solicitor.
The application is to be heard before the High Court at Rotorua on the 13th day of June 2006 at 9.30 a.m.
Any person wishing to oppose the application must give written notice not less than seven clear days before the
13th day of June 2006, of his or her intention to do so to:
(a) the Registrar of the High Court at Rotorua;
(b) the applicants, being the trustees of the trust; and
(c) the Attorney-General.
