It is notified that Transit New Zealand, by resolution dated
8 February 2006 and pursuant to section 88 (1) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, hereby declares those
parts of State highway described in the Schedule hereto
and as more particularly shown on Plans LA/13/006/956 and LA/14/096/000 and accompanying schedules held in the office of the Regional Manager, Transit New Zealand, Dunedin and there available for public inspection, to be limited access road.
Schedule
(a) In the Southland District, that section of State Highway No. 96 in Makarewa, commencing at the intersection between State Highway No. 1 and State Highway No. 96 (Route Position 0/0.000) and proceeding in a generally westerly direction to the Makarewa Flood Channel Bridge (Route Position 30/0.000); a distance of 28.1 kilometres.
(b) In the Queenstown Lakes District, that section of State Highway No. 6 commencing at the Gentle Annie Bridge (Route Position 956/4.45) and proceeding in a generally westerly direction to the northern boundary of Section 4, SO 24743 (Route Position 956/12.96); a distance of 8.5 kilometres.
