In accordance with section 34 (1) (a) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice of her intention to make the following ordinary Civil Aviation Rules:
CAR Part 135—Air Operations–Helicopters and Small Aeroplanes – The purpose of this rule making proposal is to amend Part 135 to require aeroplanes operating under instrument flight rules to have installed a terrain awareness and warning system (TAWS) (NPRM 07-02, CAA Docket 5/CAR/4).
Details of Notices of Proposed Rule Making (NPRM) are published in the monthly Civil Aviation Rules Register Information Leaflet (CARRIL).
