Pursuant to section 61 (3) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989 and clause 2.6 of the Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits 2003 (Rule 54001), Transit New Zealand hereby amends the following bylaw.
A m e n d m e n t s
1. These amendments shall come into force 28 days after publication in the New Zealand Gazette.
2. The Transit New Zealand (Maximum Speeds of Vehicles on State Highways) Bylaw 2005/7* is hereby amended by:
(a) Replacing line 662, in Schedule 3 to read:
"From RP 704/0.00 to 707/0.079
Distance from nearest Road/Feature:
For decreasing direction (one-way northbound route) - from North Road to 80m south-west of Andersons Bay Road."
(b) Replacing line 664, in Schedule 3 to read:
"From RP 706/0.55 to 707/0.079
Distance from nearest Road/Feature:
For increasing direction (one-way southbound route) - from 10m south of Water Street to 80m
south-west of Andersons Bay Road."
(c) Inserting a new line 664 (a), in Schedule 3 to read:
"On: SH1
At: Dunedin
From RP 707/0.079 to RP 707/2.00
Distance from nearest Road/Feature
From 80m south-west of Andersons Bay Road to 90m north-east of Barnes Drive.
Speed Restriction (km/h): 80"
(d) Replacing line 665, in Schedule 3 to read:
"From RP 707/2.00 to RP 709/1.25
Distance from nearest Road/Feature:
From 90m north-east of Barnes Drive to 195m
south-west of Mornington Road."
These bylaw amendments as made by resolution passed
at a meeting of Transit New Zealand held in Wellington
on 5 April 2006.
