Pursuant to section 61 (3) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989 and clause 2.6 of the Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits 2003 (Rule 54001), Transit New Zealand hereby amends the following bylaw.
A m e n d m e n t s
1. These amendments shall come into force 28 days after publication in the New Zealand Gazette.
2. The Transit New Zealand (Maximum Speeds of Vehicles on State Highways) Bylaw 2005/7* is hereby amended by:
(a) Replacing line 614 in Schedule 3 to read:
“SH No.: 6
Locality: Paroa
From (RP): 430/6.80 To (RP): 430/8.14
Distance from nearest Road/Feature:
70m south of Clough Road to 380m north of Rutherglen Road.
Speed Restriction (km/h): 80”
(b) Inserting a new line 614 (a) in Schedule 3 to read:
“SH No.: 6
Locality: Paroa
From (RP): 430/8.14 To (RP): 430/8.44
Distance from nearest Road/Feature:
380m north of Rutherglen Road to 80m north of Rutherglen Road.
Speed Restriction (km/h): 40 & 80 (variable speed
limit in school zone, during school hours between 8.25 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. and 2.55 p.m. and 3.15 p.m.)”
(c) Inserting a new line 614 (b) in Schedule 3 to read:
“SH No.: 6
Locality: Paroa
From (RP): 430/8.44 To (RP): 430/8.67
Distance from nearest Road/Feature:
80m north of Rutherglen Road to 150m south of Rutherglen Road.
Speed Restriction (km/h): 80”

at a meeting of Transit New Zealand held in Wellington
