On 9 December 2005, the Commerce Commission (“Commission”) made a determination, under section 27 of the Telecommunications Act 2001 (“the Act”), on the TelstraClear Application for Determination for Designated Access Services (including Private Office Networking) (“Decision 563”).
Pursuant to section 44 (d) of the Act, the Commission gives public notice that it has received the following pricing review applications made pursuant to section 42 of the Act:
(a) An application dated 22 December 2005 from TelstraClear Limited regarding the method for calculating standard retail price and the wholesale discount determined by the Commission in respect of the services to be supplied to TelstraClear under Decision 563; and
(b) an application dated 9 January 2006 from Telecom New Zealand Limited regarding the wholesale discount determined by the Commission in respect of the services to be supplied to TelstraClear under Decision 563.
Comments from Telecom and TelstraClear on both applications are due by close of business on 25 January 2006.
