Ordinary Rules
In accordance with section 34 (1) (a) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, the Minister for Transport Safety hereby gives notice of his intention to make ordinary rules for the following Civil Aviation Rules Parts:
Part 125 Air Operations—Medium Aeroplanes, Appendix B8 Health and Usage Monitoring Systems (HUMS)
This Notice of Proposed Rule Making (NPRM) NPRM 06 01 Docket 6/CAR/4 proposes amendments to correct specific technical requirements for engine HUMS for
single engine instrument flight rules (SEIFR) passenger operations aeroplanes.
The amendment is to correct technical requirements in existing rules.
Note: This NPRM 06-01 Docket 6/CAR/4 is not the Review of SEIFR Passenger Operations HUMS Requirements Docket 4/CAR/7 currently being carried out, the outcome of which will be available for public comment later this year.
Submissions on the proposed rules should be submitted to the Docket Clerk by 17 April 2006 and should include the Docket number 6/CAR/4.
