Public Notice of Appointment of Liquidator
The Companies Act 1993
On the 5th day of November 2006, it was resolved by special resolution, pursuant to section 241 (2) (a) of the Companies Act 1993, that Rata Services Limited be liquidated and that Kim S. Thompson, chartered accountant of Hamilton, be appointed liquidator.
The liquidation commenced on the 6th day of November 2006.
Notice to Creditors to Claim
Notice is also given that the liquidator hereby fixes the 24th day of January 2007, as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims and to establish any title that they may have to priority, under section 304 of the Companies Act 1993, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before the debts are proved or, as the case may be, from objecting to the distribution.
Notice of Meeting of Creditors
Take notice that a meeting of creditors will be held at Norris Ward McKinnon Conference Room, Seventh Floor, WEL Energy House, corner of Victoria and London Streets, Hamilton, on Tuesday, the 19th day of December 2006 at 9.30 a.m.
Agenda
1. To consider whether to appoint another liquidator in place of the present liquidator.
2. To consider whether a liquidation committee be appointed to act with the liquidator.
3. If so decided, to choose the members of the committee.
Proxies to be used at the meeting must be lodged with the liquidator, Kim S. Thompson, Chartered Accountant, Seventh Floor, WEL Energy House, 711 Victoria Street (P.O. Box 1027), Hamilton, not later that the 15th day of December 2006 at 5.00 p.m.
