Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the Southland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation changes the purpose of that part of
the reserve described in the First Schedule from a local purpose reserve (public hall) to a local purpose reserve
(war memorial), and revokes the reservation over that part of the reserve described in the Second Schedule with the effect that the land becomes Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act 1948.
