Pursuant to section 237D (1) (a) and (b) of the Resource Management Act 1991, the Taranaki Regional Council,
with prior written agreement of the New Plymouth
District Council, declares the esplanade reserve described
in the Schedule to this notice shall cease to be vested in
and administered by the district council but instead
shall vest in the Taranaki Regional Council and be
classified as a local purpose (esplanade) reserve, subject
to the Reserves Act 1977, and to the preparation of a management plan in accordance with section 41 of the
said Act.
