Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Auckland Conservator
of the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the reservation over the lands described in the First Schedule as a recreation reserve and in the Second Schedule as local purpose (plantation) reserves, and declares that the lands may be disposed of by the Auckland City Council in such manner, at a price and on terms and conditions as the council determines, the proceeds from a sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such money to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of
the council or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.
