Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Trevor Knowles, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to agreements to that effect having been entered into, the leasehold estate in the land described in the First and Second Schedules to this notice held from Her Majesty the Queen by The Cairn Station Limited, under and by virtue of lease OT338/82, is acquired for the generation
of electricity and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette, and further declares, pursuant to section 42 (3) (b), the land described in the Second Schedule shall be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948.
