Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation changes the classification of the reserve described in the Schedule from a recreation reserve to a scientific reserve, subject to the provisions of the Act, and further declares that it form part of the Waikanae Estuary Scientific Reserve.
