Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Acting Community Relations Manager of the Canterbury Conservancy of the Department of Conservation notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Banks Peninsula District Council on 17 March 2005:
“That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Banks Peninsula District Council hereby resolves that the lands held by the Banks Peninsula District Council in fee simple, and described in the Schedule, shall be and the same are hereby declared to be Recreation Reserves within the meaning of the Reserves Act 1977.”
