Under the Land Act 1948, the Waikato Conservator for the Waikato Conservancy of the Department of Conservation sets apart the land described in the Schedule as reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and further, classifies the reserve for recreation purposes and vests the reserve in
the Waipa District Council in trust for that purpose.
