Pursuant to sections 20 (1) and 50 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Stephen Robert Gilbert, Land Information
New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for scenic reserve purposes, subject to Part IVAof the Conservation Act 1991, excepting coal and other minerals remaining in Computer Freehold Register WN248/170 not acquired by Proclamation 4017, and shall vest in the Wellington City Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
