Chiropractic (Fees) Notice 2006

Pursuant to Part 6, section 130 (1) of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003, the following notice is given.
N o t i c e
1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Chiropractic (Fees) Notice 2006.
(2) This notice comes into force on 1 February 2006.
2. Fees—The Chiropractic Board sets the following fees, payable to the board, specified in the attached Schedule.
3. Tax—The fees are inclusive of goods and services tax.

Practising certificate fee for practitioners on the Register of Chiropractors holding a practising certificate in the year 1 April to 31 March who purchase a certificate for the following year after the expiration of their current practising certificate (after 1 April) and who are still practising after 1 April 1,200.00
Certificate of registration 30.00
Supplying to a chiropractor any document, other than a certificate of registration, for the purpose of seeking registration overseas 50.00
Copy of Register 50.00
Examination set or approved by the board 700.00
Examination resit fee for one paper only set or approved by the board 250.00
Key to annotations
1The fee is reduced to $400.00 for persons registered on or after 1 October in the current APC year.
2The board may grant a refund of $700.00 to registered chiropractors who have worked as a locum in New Zealand for a period of less than two calendar months in the current APC year. This can be claimed by providing evidence of time employed to the Registrar at the end of the period worked and submitting their annual practising certificate to the Registrar for cancellation.
