Note: This note is an explanation of changes to dental technician and clinical dental technician fees.
The implementation of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 has combined dentists, dental technicians, clinical dental technicians, dental hygienists and dental therapists under the control of the Dental Council.
Where possible, the fees for similar services have been standardised.
