Pursuant to sections 42 (1) (b), 42 (2) (ba), 42 (3) and 48A of the Nurses Act 1977, the Nursing Council of New Zealand (“the council”), in a decision dated 23 December 2004, ordered that conditions be imposed on the practice of Gaynor Krippner, a registered nurse, to be met within
12 months of the date of the decision.
The council also ordered that Gaynor Krippner pay $15,400.00 (being 30%) of the actual costs and expenses
of and incidental to the investigation by the director of proceedings and inquiry by the council, and that a notice stating the effect of the orders be published in the
New Zealand Gazette, Kai Tiaki: Nursing New Zealand,
the council’s newsletter and released to accredited members of the media on request.
No identifying details of other health professionals, the institution or clients are to be published.
