Pursuant to section 28B of the District Courts Act 1947,
Her Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint
Brian Patrick Callaghan, District Court Judge
to exercise the criminal jurisdiction of the District Courts under Part IIA, with effect from 1 November 2005.
