1. This is a notice of withdrawal of a product ruling made under section 91FJ of the Tax Administration Act 1994.
2. Product ruling 02/09 is hereby withdrawn to allow for a replacement ruling to be issued for the period 31 January 2005 to 30 January 2008.
3. Product ruling 02/09 related to the deductibility of the cost of shares acquired upon redemption of units in a fund. It applied for the period 1 August 2002 to 31 July 2005. Notice of its making appeared in the New Zealand Gazette, 19 September 2002, page 2256. It is withdrawn on 3 February 2005.
