Pursuant to section 79 (5) of the Hazardous Substances
and New Organisms Act 1996, the Environmental Risk Management Authority advises that it has approved a Code of Practice for Design and Construction of Fabricated Vertical Cylindrical Above Ground Thermoplastic Stationary Tanks for the Storage of Hazardous Liquids with Class 6, 8 and
9 Hazard Classifications.
This code is intended to provide a means of compliance with the regulatory requirements of clauses 8 (2), 77 (b) (i) and 93 (1) (a) of the Hazardous Substances (Dangerous Goods and Scheduled Toxic Substances) Transfer Notice 2004.
This code can be inspected at the offices of ERMA
