Pursuant to section 60 of the Transit New Zealand Act
1989, the Board of Transit New Zealand gives notice
that, with effect from 12.00 midnight on 4 August 2005,
the section of State highway described in the Schedule hereto is revoked within the meaning and for the purpose
of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989.
Schedule
The section of State Highway No. 2 in Hastings District, commencing at the north?eastern side of the Kenilworth Road intersection on Karamu Road in a generally south?westerly direction, then on St Aubyn Street in a generally south?easterly direction, then on Hastings Street South in a generally south-westerly direction, then on Southampton Street East in a generally north?westerly direction, then on Railway Road in a generally south?westerly direction to the junction of State Highway No. 50A at Pakipaki (Route Position 661/8.11 to Route Position 678/0.00); a distance of 9.80 kilometres.
