Pursuant to Part 4 of the Electoral Act 1993, the Electoral Commission resolved on 15 July 2005 to register the following political party and to enter the details shown below in the Register of Political Parties held at the office

Applications for Name Change
Pursuant to Part 4 of the Electoral Act 1993, the Electoral Commission resolved on 15 July 2005 to approve:
(a) a change of name of Progressive Party to:
Jim Anderton’s Progressive; and
(b) a change of name of The New Zealand Democratic Party Incorporated to:
The New Zealand Democratic Party for Social Credit.
Application for Change of Abbreviation of Party Name
Pursuant to Part 4 of the Electoral Act 1993, the Electoral Commission on 15 July 2005 approved the change of
the abbreviation of The New Zealand Democratic Party for Social Credit from Democrats to Democrats for social credit.
Registrations of Party Logo
Pursuant to Part 4 of the Electoral Act 1993, the Electoral Commission resolved on 15 July 2005 to register a logo for the following parties:
(a) The Republic of New Zealand Party;
(b) Rangitikei First; and
(c) Aotearoa New Zealand Equal Values Party.
Registration of Substitute Party Logo
Pursuant to Part 4 of the Electoral Act 1993, the Electoral Commission resolved on 15 July 2005 to register a substitute logo for Jim Anderton’s Progressive.
