This notice of the annual levy rates for the financial year ending 30 June 2006, pursuant to Regulation 8 of the Electricity
(Levy of Industry Participants) Regulations 2005 (“Regulations”), is issued by the Electricity Commission established under the Electricity Act 1992 (“Commission”).
The Regulations came into force on 21 April 2005.
The Regulations impose levies on generators, purchasers and distributors for the costs of performing the Commission’s functions, powers and duties under the Electricity Act 1992.
Regulation 7 specifies how the Commission must calculate the annual levy rates.
Annual Levy Rates for the Financial Year Ending 30 June 2006
The Commission has calculated the annual levy rates for the financial year ending 30 June 2006 in accordance with
