On 24 December 2004, TelstraClear Limited, Telecom
New Zealand Limited and Vodafone New Zealand Limited applied, under section 31 (a) of the Telecommunications Act 2001 (“the Act”), for a multinetwork services determination of the local telephone number portability service and the cellular telephone number portability service concerning
the functions that must be performed by a system for delivering the service and the standard to which those functions must be performed.
Pursuant to section 36 (1) (c) of the Act, the Commerce Commission gives public notice that it has made a draft determination on the application.
Submissions on the draft determination are due by close of business on 10 June 2005.
