Pursuant to Rule 91.20 of the Maritime Rules, made pursuant to the Maritime Transport Act 1994, I, Peter Williams, Acting Director of Maritime Safety, hereby grant a permanent uplifting of the speed limit prescribed by Rule 91.6 on Lake Opunake, subject to the following conditions:
1. This uplifting applies only to the 5-knot restriction within 200 metres of the shore. All other requirements of Part 91 remain in force.
2. The permanent uplifting applies between sunrise and sunset on Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays.
