Broadcasting Practice
Pursuant to section 22 (1) of the Broadcasting Act 1989,
the following notice is given.
The Election Programmes & Advertisements Code
(August 1996 edition) has been revised to take effect
from 1 April 2005.
Submissions from broadcasters and political parties were sought during the process.
The revised election programmes code can be viewed on
www.bsa.govt.nz
or a free copy can be obtained from the Broadcasting Standards Authority, P.O. Box 9213, Wellington.
