Land Transfer Act Notice

Notice is hereby given that the applicant described below has applied, under section 70 of the Land Transfer Act 1952, for the removal of an easement. The applicant claims the easement is redundant by reason of the circumstances set out below. I intend to remove the easement on the 29th day of April 2004, if no objections have been received before that date.
Application: 5931600.1.
Applicant: Longgrass Estate Limited.
Easement: Right to convey water over Section 66, Block XII, Lower Hawea Survey District, comprised in Computer Register 1516, being part marked "C" on transfer 670229.5, created by the said transfer registered the 22nd day of December 1986.
Circumstances: The dominant tenement was previously in the same ownership as Computer Register OT9B/1045, allowing water to be sourced and conveyed over the servient tenement. The dominant tenement has no right to convey water over Computer Register OT9B/1045. The easement is redundant as there is no water to convey over the servient tenement to the dominant tenement.
Dated at the Dunedin Office of Land Information New Zealand this 22nd day of March 2004.
R. W. MUIR, Registrar-General of Land.
