Whakatane District
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Trevor Knowles, Land Information New Zealand:
(a) Pursuant to sections 20 and 50 (3), declares the portions of land described in the First Schedule to this notice are acquired for road and shall vest in Whakatane District Council on the date of publication of this notice in the
New Zealand Gazette.
(b) Pursuant to section 117 (7), declares the portions of road described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be stopped and added to the land held in Gazette Notice S416063, and to be Crown Land set apart for the development of water power (Rangitaiki River Power Scheme).
