Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Acting Community Relations Manager of the Canterbury Conservancy of the Department of Conservation notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Hurunui District Council on
22 April 2004:
"That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Hurunui District Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the Hurunui District Council in fee simple, and described in the Schedule, shall be and the same is hereby declared to be a local purpose (community use) reserve within the meaning of the Reserves Act 1977."
