Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the Waikato Conservancy of the Department of Conservation classifies that part of the reserve described in the First Schedule as a recreation reserve and, further, classifies that part of the reserve described in the Second Schedule as a local purpose (community use) reserve, subject to the provisions of the Act.
