Pursuant to section 12 of the New Zealand Geographic Board Act 1946, notice was given on 26 June 2003, of the intention
of the New Zealand Geographic Board Nga Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa to assign the name Pegasus Bay, which is now modified as stated in the first column of the Schedule below to the respective place described in the second column of the said Schedule.
Objections were received to this proposed name and were dealt with pursuant to section 13 of the said Act.
I hereby declare that it is my decision that the name of this place shall be as referred to in the first column of the Schedule below, and that this decision took effect on 23 March 2004.
