Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians (Fees) Amendment Notice 2004

Pursuant to section 130 (1) of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003, the following notice is given.
N o t i c e
1. Title and commencement-(1) This notice may be cited as the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians (Fees) Amendment Notice 2004.
(2) This notice comes into force on 1 April 2005.
2. Fees-The Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Board sets the following fees, payable to the board, specified in the attached Schedule.
3. Tax-The fees are inclusive of goods and services tax.

Practising certificate fee for practitioners on the Registers of Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians holdinga practising certificate in a year 1 April to 31 March who purchase a certificate for the following year prior to the expiration of their current practising certificate (up to and including 31 March). 560.00
Practising certificate fee for practitioners on the Registers of Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians holdinga practising certificate in the year 1 April to 31 March who purchase a certificate for the following year after the expiration of their current practising certificate (after 1 April) and who are still practising after 1 April. 660.00
Practising certificate fee for practitioners who register with the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Board and who apply for a practising certificate within the financial year in which their registration was granted. 350.00
