Pursuant to section 12 of the Biosecurity (Bovine Tuberculosis - Cattle Levy) Order 1998, the Animal Health Board Incorporated gives notice that the above levy on adult cattle slaughtered in licensed premises is hereby fixed at a rate of $11.50 (G.S.T. exclusive) per head.
This rate of levy will come into effect from and inclusive of 1 February 2004.
The purpose of the levy is to partly fund activities under
the Biosecurity (National Bovine Tuberculosis Pest Management Strategy Order) 1998.
