Code for Local and Mobile Number Portability
for Regulated Telecommunications Services
Pursuant to Schedule 2 of the Telecommunications Act 2001, the Telecommunications Carriers' Forum has prepared a draft code that defines the network aspects of local and mobile number portability for regulated telecommunications services.
The specified services to which this draft code relates, as described in Part 2 to Schedule 1 of the Act, are:
(a) local telephone number portability service; and
(b) cellular telephone number portability service.
