Pursuant to section 52 of the Racing Act 2003, the
New Zealand Racing Board hereby gives notice of
the following amendment to the Betting Rules by:
(a) Removing the following words from Rule 4.15:
"In the 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the Race concerned, Win, Place and Each Way bets can only be cancelled within 60 seconds of the bet being accepted by the Board."
(b) adding the following words as new paragraph (g) in Rule 4.15:
"In the 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the Race concerned, a bet on the Race can only be cancelled within 60 seconds of the bet being accepted by the Board."
This Rule comes into force on 26 April 2004.
Copies of the Betting Rules may be inspected free of charge at TAB offices or may be purchased from the New Zealand Racing Board.
