The Board of the Tertiary Education Commission
Te Amorangi Matauranga Matua approved, pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, full recognition for the New Zealand Furniture Industry Training Organisation Incorporated to set standards at Levels 1 to 8 on the National Qualifications Framework for the furniture and bedding manufacturing industries for a further period of five years with effect from 18 December 2003.
