Pursuant to section 324 of the Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation, and Compensation Act 2001, the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) gives notice of its intention to recommend to the Minister for ACC that changes be made to the Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation, and Compensation (Liability to Pay or Contribute to Cost
of Treatment) Regulations 2003.
A period of public consultation on the proposed Regulations is also notified and details are given below:
1. An explanation of ACC's proposal to recommend
that such Regulations be made, as well as the proposed Regulations, are contained in the consultation document titled Cost of Treatment Regulations (changes for registered medical practitioners, specified treatment providers and radiologists). The document may be obtained:

30 July 2004.
