Pursuant to section 27 (1) of the Alcohol Advisory
Council Act 1976, the Minister of Health hereby gives the following notice.
N o t i c e
1. This notice may be cited as the Alcohol Advisory Council Levy Notice 2004.
2. The rate of levy payable under section 28 of the Alcohol Advisory Council Act 1976 for the year ended 30 June 2005 shall be as follows:
Beer 1.17c/litre plus G.S.T.
Spirits 38.51c/litre of alcohol plus G.S.T. for spirits greater than 23% alcohol by volume and 7.06c/litre plus G.S.T. for spirits not more than 23% alcohol by volume
Fortified wine 7.06c/litre plus G.S.T.
Unfortified wine 4.32c/litre plus G.S.T.
