The Board of the Tertiary Education Commission
Te Amorangi Matauranga Matua approved, pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, full recognition for the New Zealand Equine Industry Training Organisation Incorporated to set standards at Levels 1 to 8 on the
National Qualifications Framework for the equine industry incorporating the breeding, thoroughbred and harness racing (industry racing facility administration and maintenance), farrier, and equestrian sports and recreation sectors for
a further period of five years with effect from 21 December 2003.
