Pursuant to section 159D and clauses 2 (1), 3 and 11 of Schedule 13A of the Education Act 1989 (as inserted
by Schedule 1 of the Education (Tertiary Reform) Amendment Act 2002), the Minister responsible for the Tertiary Education Commission gives the following notice.
N o t i c e
1. This notice may be cited as the Tertiary Education Commission (Membership) Notice 2004.
2. This notice comes into force on the day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.
3. I appoint Professor Graeme Stuart Fraser to the Tertiary Education Commission to replace Dr Ian Smith, who has resigned.
4. The appointment takes effect from 1 June 2004 and expires on 31 December 2005.
