Pursuant to section 124 (1) (d) of the Social Security Act 1964, the Minister for Social Development and Employment makes the following amendment to the Pathways Payment Programme (as established and approved on 30 June 2002).

A m e n d m e n t
1. Title-(1) This amendment is the Pathways Payment Amendment (No. 2) 2004.
(2) In this amendment, the Pathways Payment Programme is called "the programme".
2. Commencement-This amendment comes into effect on 31 March 2004.
3. Interpretation-The definition of working-age benefit in clause 4 (1) of the programme is amended by revoking paragraph (g).

This amendment to the Pathways Payment Programme, which comes into effect on 31 March 2004, omits the reference to a transitional retirement benefit in the definition of working-age benefit in clause 4 (1) of the programme.
