Pursuant to section 78M of the Education Act 1989, I hereby amend the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette,
29 November 2001, page 3936, regarding the appointment of a limited statutory manager for the board of Aorere College.
The following functions, powers and duties of the board are vested in the limited statutory manager:
? Employment powers of the board.
The limited statutory manager must also advise the board on the following:
? Strategic planning and reporting;
? systems for self-review;
? curriculum management systems; and
? a staff professional development programme.
This notice takes effect the day after the date of publication.
