In terms of section 54 (2) of the Reserve Bank of
New Zealand Act 1989, I hereby notify my appointment
of
Dr Marilyn Joy Waring
as a non-executive director on the Reserve Bank of
New Zealand's Board of Directors for a term of five years commencing on 4 February 2004; and reappoint
Paul Edward Alex Baines
as a non-executive director on the Reserve Bank of
New Zealand's Board of Directors for a five-year term commencing on 1 July 2004.
