Ordinary Rules
In accordance with section 34 (1) (a) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice of his intention to make ordinary rules in the following Civil Aviation Rule (CAR) Parts:
Part 108-Air Operator Security Programme - amendments to Part 108 in regard to Hold
Baggage Screening and Hold Baggage Authorisation
to implement the ICAO Annex 17 requirements (NPRM 05-03, Docket 4/CAR/10).
Part 1-Definitions and Abbreviations - amendments to Part 1 to add new definitions related to baggage.
Comments on the proposed rules should be submitted to the Docket Clerk by 18 February 2005.
