I, Russell Paul Kilvington, Chief Executive of the
Maritime Safety Authority, pursuant to section 45 of
the Maritime Security Act 2004, hereby give notice as follows.
The following areas are designated port security areas at Port Whangarei and Marsden Point, the port facilities operated by Northport Limited:
1. Port Whangarei
All that area within the port known as Main Wharf 1 and Main Wharf 2 from the access control gate to the end of the wharf structure.
2. Marsden Point
All that port area within the fenced boundary bordered by Whangarei Harbour and Blacksmiths Creek to the west, to the southern boundary across Marsden Point Road and the gate house to the eastern public access road.
