Pursuant to section 172I of the Electricity Act 1992, and having regard to the matters set out in sections 172E
and 172H, I notify the amendment of the Electricity Governance Rules 2004 ("the Rules").
The empowering provisions for the electricity governance regulations, in relation to which the amendment to the
Rules is made, are sections 172D (2) (a), (b) and (e) of
the Electricity Act 1992.
The amendment consists of the insertion of the "System Operator Ancillary Services Procurement Plan" (for implementation for a 12-month period beginning 1 November 2004) as Schedule C5 of Part C of the Rules.
This rule comes into force on 16 September 2004.
