Pursuant to Regulation 67 (8) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and under delegated authority of the Land Transport Safety Authority, I, John Andrew Justice, Principal Vehicle Engineer, hereby approve the fitting of two revolving red lamps on the motor vehicle specified in Schedule 1 of this notice, subject to the conditions in Schedule 2, and, pursuant to Regulation 90 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 and under delegated authority, I exempt from Regulation 69 (2) of these Regulations, prohibiting sirens, the motor vehicle specified in Schedule 1, subject to the conditions specified in Schedule 2.

Conditions
(i) The two revolving red lamps and siren must be switched off while the vehicle is operated on public roads.
(ii) The operation of the revolving red lamps or siren must not cause annoyance or confusion to the public or road users.
(iii) This approval expires when the vehicle changes ownership.
(iv) This exemption may be revoked at any time.
(v) A copy of this notice must be carried in the vehicle at all times and be readily available for inspection.
