Pursuant to Regulation 16A (2) of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974 and pursuant to the powers delegated
to me by the Director of Land Transport Safety, I, Laszlo Andras Hidvegi, Senior Engineer Safer Vehicles Policy, hereby amend the exemption, issued for the towing connections of tractors and agricultural trailers in respect
of Regulation 16A (1) (c) of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 12 December 2002, page 4496, as follows:
Paragraph 7 of Schedule 3 is revoked and replaced with the following:
"7. The data in 3 (a), 3 (b), 4 (a), 4 (b), 5 (a) and
5 (b), must be displayed in accordance with the requirements of the Land Transport Rule: Heavy Vehicles (Rule 31002) when the rule comes into force."
